Life is made up of moments—small and big victories, quiet acts of courage, and unexpected joys. If we only celebrate the "big wins," we miss out on so much of what makes the journey meaningful. Today is about recognizing the power of celebration, gratitude, and joy as tools to recharge your spirit and motivate you for the path ahead.
Celebration isn’t just about achievement; it’s about honoring your effort, resilience, and growth. Let’s take time to truly celebrate.
If you found these 12 days challenging, it’s ok! It IS challenging and it takes effort. To do it right and get it set up is definitely more than 12 days and is best done with others or a coach to stretch your thinking and challenge those limiting beliefs and blind spots! If you want to really smash this, join my Visioneering class in February 2025 to walk together on this journey!
Step 1: Celebrate the Small Things
Small wins are often the building blocks of big successes. Every step you’ve taken, no matter how tiny, has brought you closer to your vision.
Activity: Reflect on the past 12 days and ask yourself:
What small actions am I proud of completing?
Example: Reflecting deeply, journaling, or even making space in your calendar.
What new awareness or habits have I cultivated?
Example: Gaining clarity on my big rocks, overcoming resistance, or tracking progress.
TIP: Ways to Celebrate Small Wins:
Treat yourself to something simple that brings joy—a favorite meal, a walk in nature, or extra time with a loved one.
Write a “brag list” of everything you’ve accomplished, no matter how small, and read it aloud with pride.
Even something small like physically patting yourself on the back, or a fist pump for those mini achievements is worthwhile.
Sing “We are the Champions” or other triumphal song.
Inspiration: “Don’t wait for the perfect moment to celebrate. Celebrate the small steps—they’re what lead to the big leaps.”
Step 2: Practice Gratitude
Gratitude shifts your focus from what’s lacking to what’s abundant. It grounds you in the present and enhances joy.
Activity: Create a gratitude list:
Write down 5-10 things you’re grateful for right now. Include:
People who have supported you.
Insights or growth you’ve experienced.
Opportunities or moments that brought joy.
Reflect on how gratitude can shape your mindset moving forward:
How has gratitude helped me notice the beauty in my journey?
How can I weave gratitude into my daily routine?
Tip: Start or end each day with a gratitude ritual—write down one thing you’re thankful for and why it matters.
Step 3: Create Joy and Recharge
Celebration also means allowing yourself moments of pure joy and rest. These are essential to sustaining energy for the journey ahead.
How to Recharge with Joy:
Do Something Playful: Dance, sing, laugh—let yourself feel free and light.
Connect with Loved Ones: Share your reflections and celebrations with someone who uplifts you.
Rest Intentionally: Take a nap, read a favorite book, or enjoy quiet time without guilt.
Activity: Plan a joyful or restorative activity for today.
Example: A movie night, a solo hike, a creative project, or simply an afternoon off.
Inspiration: "Joy is not in things; it is in us." – Richard Wagner
Step 4: Celebrate the Bigger Picture
Zoom out and reflect on the past 12 days and the vision you’ve created for the year ahead.
Questions for Reflection:
What am I most proud of accomplishing during this process?
How have I grown in understanding myself, my values, and my priorities?
What excites me most about the journey ahead?
Activity: Write a letter to yourself celebrating your effort and growth over these 12 days.
Imagine your future self thanking you for the clarity, focus, and intention you’ve created.
Step 5: Create a Celebration Ritual
End today—and this transformative journey—with a celebration ritual.
Example Celebration Ritual:
Light a candle to symbolize your intention for the year ahead.
Speak your favorite affirmation or mantra aloud.
Example: “I honor my journey, celebrate my growth, and step into the new year with joy and purpose.”
Close with a moment of gratitude—thank yourself for showing up and committing to this process.
Affirmation for Day 12:
"I celebrate every step of my journey, honoring the small wins, the lessons learned, and the joy I create along the way."
Remember, celebration isn’t just the end of a journey—it’s a way to keep the spark alive throughout the process. As you move forward, commit to celebrating often, practicing gratitude, and creating moments of joy to sustain and energize you.
Congratulations on completing these 12 days—you’ve built a powerful foundation for 2025 and beyond. Now, let’s celebrate! 🎉
